They both LOVE playing Bump. I've been making different multiplication bump games for every season and holiday to mix it up for them. I like these games because each set has a different board for each set of facts (eights, nines, tens, etc.) so depending on what timed test they are working on at school, I can easily print off that number to focus on.
I blogged in more detail HERE about playing Spin and Multiply Bump and the rules, but here are the basics.
To play St Patrick's Day Bump:
- Use a paperclip and pencil as a spinner (or use your own spinner) and then ten markers/math manipulatives for each player. We love these suction cup ones from Amazon.
- Spin and multiply that number by the big number in the corner (there is a different board for numbers 1-10.)
- Find the answer and cover it.
- If another player's markers is on the spot you can bump it off.
- If you get two markers on the same number, you lock it and can't be bumped.
- First one to use up all their markers is the winner.
I've uploaded two of the game boards from my Spin and Multiply St. Patrick's Day Version for FREE!!
